MOBA, in partnership with safety camera specialists, Fastview360, have launched game-changing technology that will provide greater safety for both waste management operatives and the public. BinStop can be fitted to any waste truck and will stop anyone accidentally being lifted into the rear of the truck.
Fastview360's AI camera technology identfies if a human is present in the operating zone at the rear of the waste truck. If so, MOBA's machine control will automatically block the lifter from working. Once the human moves out of the operating zone, the lifter is free to lift and complete the emptying of the bin.
BInStop was soft-launched at Road Transport Expo 2024 where MOBA and Fastview360 were able to demonstrate the technology in real-time. Any local authorities or waste management companies who are interested in learning more about BinStop should contact us via waste-uk@moba.de.
