A GLOBAL INNOVATOR SINCE 1972
Through ingenuity, innovation and experience, the MOBA Group is globally recognised as experts in the advancement of machine control technology to the waste and construction industries.
Founded in 1972 as an engineering company, we have developed into a world-wide player with robust, user friendly, market-leading products that enable our customers to work with greater accuracy and efficiency. With a development team of over 100 engineers and more than 600 employees worldwide, MOBA continually strives to design and manufacture innovative products and systems for and with our customers in mind.
MOBA UK was established in 2011 and now employs over 20 sales, engineering, and support staff. In 2016, we invested heavily in the creation of the bespoke workshop, office and conference facilities and we plan further investment in equipment, technology and staff over the next five years.
MACHINE CONTROL EXPERTS IN WASTE AND CONSTRUCTION
The philosophy of MOBA is to continuously improve the quality and accuracy of machine control performance.
For our customers in the Waste Industry this means robust bin weighing solutions, accurate RFiD and Telematics products, software solutions that improve business efficiency and revenue control and vehicle camera systems to safeguard operatives and the public.
Our Road Construction customers benefit from a range of quality measurement technologies that accurately control and monitor the laying of asphalt in road construction and precise leveling and control systems for dozers and graders within an earthworks environment.
Our service and support teams are on hand to enable your business and projects to run efficiently. Our experienced and highly trained engineers work to ensure that all equipment is installed and maintained to the highest standards and that service call outs are responded to in a timely manner. We have also been approved by the National Measurement and Regulation Office (NMRO) to verify our own bin weighing and underbody weighing equipment for pay-by-weight services which now provides our customers with a faster service as well as being able to install and approve systems more economically.
Working with MOBA has helped support both operational and client requirements, the MOBA averaging beam system has allowed greater machine control and enhanced tolerances, providing equipment and service to help Aggregate Industries meet and exceed customer expectations.”
Craig Flowers, National Plant Manager: Aggregate Industries
"The introduction of MOBA’s weighing and RFID bin technology has had a powerful influence on the way we do business. Not only do we now have an accurate assessment of how much waste we collect, but the technology also enables us to help re-educate customers who could be recycling far more. By eliminating over-filled bins from our business means that we can better control operational costs which improves both our efficiency and the overall service we provide to our customers”.
Phil Gudgeon, Managing Director, Cawley’s
“We have been working together with MOBA in our quest to revolutionise the asphalt industry and we have found that their support has been invaluable. This has included collaboration with MOBA staff both here, in the UK, and also in Germany. Recognition of our achievements has culminated in winning the “Innovation of the year-Transport Systems” award at the NCE Techfest Awards in September 2018, which could not have been achieved without the support of MOBA and its impressive PAVE-IR system.””
