Y Pellets, a nationwide distributor of premium biomass pellets for homes and businesses, needed a solution to help them both measure the weight of pellets onboard their trucks as well as ensuring that their customers get precisely delivered what they order.
The Yorkshire-based company turned to MOBA for this solution, having already fitted similar systems for a host of logistics businesses across the UK.
Y Pellets' fleet is now equipped with MOBA's on-board, approved weighing system. This not only measures the weight of pellets on board at any one time, as well as the weight of pellets delivered to their customer's, each with a digital record.
Coming soon, to enhance this solution, is a hand-held remote control device that the driver can use to both manage the delivery whilst at the same time control the amount of pellets being delivered.
